- This tutorial will go over the steps necessary to create a rate adjustment in Southern Star's CSI system.
- First, log into CSi using your username and password.
- Click Contracts, and then click Contract.
- Then select the appropriate contract in the drop-down box in Service Request K field.
- Then hit Retrieve.
- From the search grid, hit Select Next to the contract you have chosen.
- Next, click Rate Adjustment.
- Now you're ready to enter the specifics of the adjustment.
- In the rate begin date, enter start date of request.
- in our scenario, we will just choose January 1st, 2020. Then enter a rate end date.
- Our adjustment will cover the month of January, so you would need to add an end-date of February 1, Next, select rate adjustment type.
- Location to delivery or receipt to deliver.
- Hovering over the options gives you a description of each rate-adjustment type We will choose receipt-to-delivery.
- The location zone will pre-fill based on the type of contract you select.
- Our contract is a market area contract, so market TA is pre filled.
- Next, we choose the charge type.
- The choices are RES Reservation, ORA Authorized Overrun, and ORC Authorize Over Run Non-Chargable.
- We will choose RES as the Charge Type.
- A Rate Entry field defaults to Rate Period.
- There is also a Quantity Range option if that applies.
- The begin and end dates will default to the dates chosen above.
- Then, enter the agreed upon adjustment rate.
- In this case, it's .05. Next, click the open selector button under the receipt to choose the desired receipt location.
- We will choose 999-000-PMI for our example.
- In the filter box, you can also search by inputting the desired location name or number.
- Click Close Selector.
- Follow the same steps for choosing the deliver location.
- After all required fields are completed, hit Save.
- If there are any missing fields or anything is incorrect, you will receive an error message at this point telling you what fields need to be corrected.
- If they are no errors, click submit.
- A message will appear letting you know the status has been updated.
- By scrolling down to the bottom of the page, you can see the action is now showing submitted rate adjustment.
- The request will then follow the normal approval process, similar to electronic contracting until final execution.
- If you are not set up for the electronic contract, then you still submit the request.
- However, the process will need to be completed manually.
- As always, if you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to call your representative from Southern Star.
