Southern Star 101

Southern Star 101 is an introductory customer education program designed to provide a foundational understanding of Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline's business and operations. The presentation covers the company's pipeline system, organizational structure, key markets, customer segments, and natural gas transportation and storage services. Participants are introduced to Southern Star's customer-facing resources and tools, including the CSI website, The Hub (formerly the Resource Library), the PSO Dashboard, and the Available Capacity Dashboard. The program also provides an overview of key operational concepts such as scheduling, balancing, imbalances, cash-outs, and the tariff services available to shippers conducting business on the Southern Star system. By the end of the session, customers gain a stronger understanding of how Southern Star operates and the resources available to help them effectively manage their business on the system.
