1. This is a video tutorial for creating offers from the capacity release screen.
  2. Once you're logged in, you will navigate under customer activities to capacity, release and then offers.
  3. What's on this screen?
  4. You will be able to retrieve existing offers by choosing the retrieve button.
  5. Scrolling down you will see all of the offers that are available to view.
  6. If there are offers specific to your login that you would like to see you can filter by clicking only my offers and hitting the retrieve button.
  7. To create an offer navigate to the create button once you've navigated to.
  8. The first of four tabs required to create.
  9. An offer your release your information and your releasing contact name will be automatically populated.
  10. Contracts to release from will be available in the Releasing K field.
  11. The Rate Schedule will default based on the contract as well as the Rate schedule replacement field fields required for save will be in red.
  12. The first field that you see that is required is the releasing start date.
  13. Use the date picker to choose a date that's available for releasing and a day for the end date of the term that wish to release for.
  14. the next field is a pre-arranged deal description field.
  15. Choose the correct option for this field Based on your choice in the pre-arranged deal description, if it is not subject to a prearrange deal,
  16. it will automatically default to abittable deal.
  17. Bid period start date and bid period end dates will automatically populate.
  18. You can then navigate to the rate page and here you will find there is one more red field that is required prior to a save function and that your discount
  19. indicator field.
  20. This is a new field has been added in an effort to capture the releasing party's intention on who shall pay max rates.
  21. if a discount exists on the releasing contract and the replacement shipper does not honor the terms of that discount.
  22. Once you have completed all of the fields that are highlighted in red, you can save the offer.
  23. All data is not completed and that data's not available for submitting yet, but if you would like to temporarily save this offer you now have the minimum
  24. data required so that you could come back later and finish this So to finish the rest of the information for this offer,
  25. beginning with the offer tab, we can see that we still need to include a permanent release description.
  26. Choose from the dropdown the appropriate response there and your allow re-release description Once all data is complete on the Offer Info page,
  27. you can navigate to the Rate page.
  28. From the rate page, the first field that you will complete will be your rate form and type description.
  29. It's either a reservation or a volumetric charge type, and your releaser's acceptable bid basis description You have two non-index based options to choose
  30. from here and three index based option to chose from.
  31. Once you select an item here, You will automatically see other fields that are required that related to the releaser's acceptable bid basis description
  32. that you chose.
  33. The first in red is your minimum rate disclosure description.
  34. Choose whether you would like that rate to be disclosed or undisclosed to The Bidding Party.
  35. And scroll down to the bottom and you will notice that it has identified the rate ID as a reservation type.
  36. It's automatically populated Southern Star's max tariff rate.
  37. And you'll enter in here the minimum acceptable rate that you would accept for this offer.
  38. I'm going to put in a rate of 15. This completes all the information on the Rate tab.
  39. You will then navigate to Quantity and Location tab The first green field that you see is automatically populated with a quantity of 159, which is the
  40. quantity available to release off of this TA1008 contract.
  41. So the Max Offer Quantity K field is where you will enter the amount that are releasing from this contract I'm going to put a Quantitiy of 50 in this field.
  42. You will complete the wrap or releasers right to amend primary points field as yes or no.
  43. Then navigate to the locations grid broken down into halves.
  44. You have the receipt locations listed first and the delivery locations are listed at the bottom.
  45. So for the release and quantity of 50, I'm going to release 50 off this Oak Tech Marsh location for The Receipt side.
  46. Then my Microsoft for quantity, of course, on the delivery side should match.
  47. I have one location to choose from, so I am going enter 50 in this field as well.
  48. That completes everything on your quantity and location page.
  49. We'll now navigate to the terms page From the Terms page, you're going to identify whether this has a contingency or not.
  50. Releasers, shipper contingencies, yes or no.
  51. If there is a Contingency, we need to know the end date of that contingent and any comments that you have related.
  52. Your Recall Reput Description is the next field to complete.
  53. There is one option for not recallable and three recall-able options.
  54. You identify this as recall able.
  55. We are not only requiring that you enter comments.
  56. for your recall and re-put terms, but in order to indicate which cycles you will allow a recall to commence on, we have an all field here.
  57. If you click all yes, it automatically populates all of your cycle indicators with a yes as well as your business day indicator with the yes.
  58. if you wanted to individually choose, you can say no and then go into the specific ones that you wish to choose as yes or no.
  59. The last field on here required before submission is your standalone offer, yes or no field.
  60. At this time, if we have completed all of the fields required for a submit, you will navigate to the top right hand corner,
  61. hit submit offer.
  62. Choose the submit button.
  63. Once your offer is submitted successfully, you will receive a message that says Offer 99020139 is Submitted Successfully.
  64. If you have error messages, You will recieve a pop-up detailing all of the fields that's missing data or has incomplete data,
  65. as well as indicators on each tab showing you where those errors occur.
  66. Once you've navigated to that tab, The field that is missing.
  67. I'm missing the allow re-release field, so I am going to complete this.
  68. Obviously missing information on the rate field and those fields are in red.
  69. So I can go in and complete those.
  70. Navigate to the quantity and location page.
  71. Looks like I miss in the wrap description.
  72. And also missing a delivery here.
  73. Missing the rate.
  74. On the terms page I was missing the recall and re-put description.
  75. So once you've cleared all of your errors you can hit submit offer and then submit again.
  76. Then you will receive your successfully submitted message with your offer number that can be recorded to provide to your bidding party.
  77. On the offer screens there are fields that are self-explanatory.
  78. For example, the releaser data populates the name for the releasing party and the release in contact is associated with the login.
  79. Other fields are not as self explanatory such as the allow re-release field include tool tips with an indicator that you can hover over and an explanation
  80. of what that field relates to.
  81. This one says do you, the releasing shipper, want the replacement shippers to be allowed to re-release this capacity?
  82. No, I do not wish to allow them to release this is your WRAP description field, R-A-P-B.
  83. If you hover over the tooltip, it tells you, do you releasing shipper want to allow the replacement shippers to amend the primary points on this contract?
  84. I'm going to choose no.
  85. I do not wish to them to ammend.
  86. Throughout these tabs, there are several tool tips to help you understand what information is required for these fields.
